About Sarah's

Sarah's Salsa conceptually began about 17 years ago. While pregnant with my first daughter, I craved and ate salsa for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was out of these cravings that I began experimenting with various fresh salsa recipes. After many years of adding new ingredients, deleting ingredients, and changing measurements I arrived at my recipe. For 17 years I served this salsa to hundreds of friends and family. 

It wasn't until we began the adoption of our second daughter from China that I considered selling my salsa. With the motivation to stay home more and have increased flexibility we began our business by incorporating, designing our label and debuting at the Greensboro Farmers Market in May of 2005. 

In August of 2005, we began selling our salsa at The Fresh Market. The Fresh Market has allowed us to grow into all their stores and add to our line of salsas to include Original, Hot, Blackbean Chipotle and Mango Pineapple. We moved to a larger facility housed in the Gateway Research Center (a facility supported by A&T University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro) allowing us to develop more flavors and continue to grow with the demand for fresh salsa. We are grateful to our loyal customers and are committed to bringing you a product you can be happy to serve your family and friends.
